How break spots, live rips, the queue and your pulls work. New here? Start with how it works.
Claiming a spot, holds, and how packs are matched to spots.
We open a sealed box live on stream and split it into spots. You buy one or more spots, and the packs that belong to your spots are yours. Every pack is opened face up on camera.
Numbered: you pick your spot numbers yourself on the spot grid.
Random: you choose how many spots you want, and free spots are drawn for you when you add them to your cart. You see your spot numbers in the cart.
Mystery: spots are drawn the same way as random, when you add them to your cart. [client to confirm: what else makes a mystery break different, e.g. what is in the box or when it is revealed]
Spot 1 gets pack 1, spot 2 gets pack 2, and so on, in the order the packs come out of the box on camera.
10 minutes. As soon as you add a spot to your cart it is held for you, and the cart shows when the hold ends. Check out before then to keep it.
If the hold runs out, the spot opens up for other buyers. When you come back to your cart, the hold is renewed if the spot is still free. A random or mystery spot is drawn again. If someone else has taken it, it’s removed from your cart with a notice.
No. A spot can only be held by one cart at a time, and the site locks it while it’s being claimed. If someone takes a spot you had picked but not yet added to your cart, it’s removed from your picks with a notice.
When your order is paid. Once you place the order, the spot stays reserved for it. If the payment fails, or the order is cancelled or refunded, the spot opens up again. [client to confirm: how long an unpaid order is kept before it is cancelled]
You can see your spots, and the status of each break, in My account under My spots.
Each break shows its stream date and time on its page, and it’s listed on the stream schedule. During the stream, the spot grid shows which spot is being opened right now.
[client to confirm: break rules for unsold spots, e.g. the break is moved, the store keeps the unsold spots, or orders are refunded]
Packs you buy for us to open on stream, and how the queue moves.
A pack or booster you buy from us that we open live on stream for you, instead of shipping it sealed. You’ll find them under Live rip packs. Products in Sealed ship unopened.
As soon as your order is paid. Each pack gets its own place in the queue, so an order for three packs adds three entries.
Packs are opened one at a time, in queue order. We call your name before your pack opens. The live room shows the pack on the mat and the packs coming up next, and your own entries are marked “You”.
In My account under My rips. Each pack shows its place in the queue, or whether it’s being ripped now or done. You can also follow the queue in the live room on the schedule page.
No. Every stream is saved. Once your pack has been opened, My rips links to the replay, along with the cards you pulled.
Streams play in the live room on this site. [client to confirm: which platforms we stream on, e.g. YouTube, Twitch, TikTok]. Follow us on those to get a ping when we go live.
Packs that are still waiting in the queue are taken out of it when the order is cancelled, fails or is refunded. Packs that have already been opened stay in the record. [client to confirm: the refund policy for live rip packs]
What we log from your packs, and where the big ones end up.
A card we log from your pack or break spot during the stream. Pulls are saved against your order, so you’ll see them in My account under My rips and as “Your pulls” on the order itself.
The best pulls, featured on the Hits page with the card, set, grade and value where we have them.
Hits link to a short clip of the pull. A tile with a play button opens the clip on Instagram, TikTok or YouTube in a new tab. Clips are added after the stream, so a brand-new hit may not have one yet.
In the spot grid, the queue and the live room, buyers are only ever shown as first name and last initial, like “Misty W.”. [client to confirm: how buyers are named on hits, and whether they can opt out]
Yes, the cards from your packs and spots are yours, and we ship them to you. [client to confirm: how cards are packed and protected, and when they ship]
Your account, sealed product, shipping and returns.
In My account. My spots lists your break spots and the status of each break. My rips lists your live rip packs with their place in the queue. Both link to the replay once your pack or spot has been opened, and show the cards you pulled.
No. Everything in Sealed ships unopened. If you want a pack opened on stream, pick it from Live rip packs instead.
[client to confirm: shipping countries, rates and delivery times]
[client to confirm: when pulls ship, e.g. after each stream or combined, and whether you can ask us to hold cards]
[client to confirm: returns window and conditions for unopened sealed product]
[client to confirm: refund policy for break spots and live rip packs, before and after they are opened]
Whatever the policy, a spot that is refunded opens up again for other buyers, and a refunded pack that is still waiting is taken out of the queue.
